Lewis Automotive Group is moving forward with the rebuild of their Lewis Ford Lincoln dealership. Demolition began this month and is well underway.

“The former building was in need of a remodel and I’m excited to see the plans completed,” says Brad Lewis, GM of Lewis Ford Lincoln of Dodge City. “With the incentive program that Ford is offering, there could not be a better time to complete this rebuild.”

The construction cost will total approximately $2.1 million and will include a 7,631 sq. ft. state of the art steel building. It will include an indoor service write-up area, delivery bay for customer convenience, showroom, comfortable customer lounge and accounting offices.

Lewis is excited for the completion of the building and says it will provide big city amenities with the home town service you would expect at a Lewis dealership. Lewis forecasts upon completion of the rebuild, the dealership will see an increase in foot traffic. The dealership anticipates the sale of approximately 600 units per year. The projected completion date for the project is May 2015.
