Love’s Travel Stop Set for June Opening

Thursday, March 20, 2014

(Dodge City, KS) The new Love’s Travel Stop, located at the intersection of Highways 400, 56, and 283 is slated to open. The new store will be open 24/7 providing a safe, well-lit stop at night that is always staffed with a friendly, knowledgeable team. The travel stop will feature a gourmet coffee selection, a variety of fountain drinks, fresh fruit, name-brand snacks, travel items, gift merchandise and more.   Chester’s International will be connected to the travel stop but offer a separate dining area for customers to enjoy a sit down meal. This Dodge City location will also have 31 parking spaces for professional truck drivers and three available shower stalls.

The new Love’s Travel Stop in Dodge City means stable jobs. Each location Love’s opens provides anywhere from 40-80 new jobs depending on the size and restaurant concept. These jobs will stay in the community for the long-term, and Love’s is a firm believer in fostering its employees’ growth and success within the company.

One of Love’s Travel Stops core values is giving back to the communities where it operates. A grand opening/ribbon cutting will be held at the site to celebrate the new store once it’s open.  “We will present a $2,000 grand opening donation to a local nonprofit at the grand opening, however the nonprofit hasn’t been chosen yet,” said Kealey Dorian, Media Specialist for Love’s Travel Stops.
