Events & Attractions:
- The biggest local event is
Dodge City Days, 10 days beginning in late July and carrying
through early August, filled with things to
do for all ages! Arts and crafts shows, parades, car
races, train robbery, concerts, dances and five nights of
Kansas largest PCRA Rodeo hosted by the Dodge City Roundup
Rodeo Association
- Boot
Hill Museum & Front Street, one of the largest tourist
attractions in the State of Kansas, is located in Dodge
City. Over 100,000 people visit the museum each year
- The
Dodge
City Legend Professional Basketball Team provides exciting
entertainment April through June. Their home court is in
the Dodge City Civic Center. The Legend won the United
States Basketball League championship in their inaugural
season in 2000.

Dodge City Raceway
Park offers local and national car racing events April
through October on 3/8 mile dirt and 1/5 mile asphalt tracks.
The track opened in the spring of 2000.
The Arts
Live theater is popular at the Boot
Hill Repertory Dinner Theater, which is located in the newly
restored historic Santa Fe Depot, throughout the winter season
(October - March). Call 620-225-1001 for ticket information.
The Carnegie
Center for the Arts offers local works and traveling shows and
is rated as one of the top Art Centers in the state.
The Dodge City Cowboy Band, chamber
orchestra, traveling theater, college theater, comedy and
symphonies are featured throughout the year.
