Downtown Historic/Heritage

Stroll the streets of old Dodge City and have a unique shopping and sightseeing experience. Just steps from the historic Boot Hill Museum, you’ll find unique ethnic shopping with historic locations of interest, custom metal art banners, art museums, souvenirs, and guided tours. Local flavor dining is also found in the area. Downtown Dodge is waiting to welcome you. This Corridor will keep the kids entertained at Wright Park, which includes their Zoo, Bike, playground, picnic shelters, amphitheatre, Hoover Pavilion, and Skate Park. Wyatt Earp Corridor

Wyatt Earp, also known as Business US Highway 50, serves as a main route running east and west through Dodge City. Entertainment District

Boot Hill Casino & Resort, located in world-famous Dodge City, Kansas, is home to the first state-owned and operated casino gaming in Kansas. The first state-owned casino in Kansas that opened in 2009. The United Wireless Arena
state of the art, multi-purpose facility that opened in February of 2011 for Dodge City and the surrounding communities. Since its’ grand opening, the arena has hosted hundreds of events that include concerts, sporting events, family entertainment, motorsports, trade shows, rodeos, comedy tours and community activities. Located alongside Boot Hill Casino and the Hampton Inn and Suites, United Wireless Arena is a part of an elite entertainment destination that sits in the heart of Southwest Kansas.

14th Avenue Corridor

14th Avenue is at the center of Dodge City. This avenue runs north and south through the entire city. This corridor is the home of the Dodge City Community College, as well as several banks and big name retailers, such as Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Walgreen’s, Dillon’s, and Aaron’s. North Central Avenue Corridor

North Central Avenue is home to The Village Square Mall, Gibson’s Mall, and Central Oak’s Shopping Center. A fitness/health center is located in the North Central Avenue Corridor, along with several freestanding restaurants. Both chain retailers and local retail stores have increased commercial growth along the corridor.
