Parks & Sports

There are over 20 parks and four athletic field complexes in Dodge City. Dodge City is also home to the Long Branch Lagoon. Open Memorial Day through Labor Day, the Long Branch Lagoon is the only western-inspired water park in the wild, wild west!

Legends Ballpark hosts multiple youth baseball and softball tournaments every spring as well as being the home of the Dodge City High School and Dodge Community College softball teams.

Cavalier Field plays host to the Dodge City Community College baseball team in the spring and the Dodge City A’s during the summer.

The Dodge City Sports Commission is an Ad Hoc committee that works to identify and bring in events to the Dodge City Community that would not otherwise be held in this location.

Mariah Hills Golf Course is one of the premier 18 hole public golf courses in the state that has hosted multiple high school state and college championships.

The Hoover Pavilion is a local historic venue located in Wright Park that can be rented out for events by contacting the City of Dodge City Parks and Recreation Department.

St. Mary’s Soccer complex provides 6 natural grass fields to host local league and tournament play.
