Ashley Still Graduates from Leadership Dodge
Ashley Still, Director of Small Business and Entrepreneurship for the Dodge City/Ford County Development Corporation, graduated as a member of the Leadership Dodge Class of 2026 during a ceremony held on June 24.
Leadership Dodge is designed to develop community leaders by providing participants with a deeper understanding of Dodge City's businesses, industries, organizations, and community resources while strengthening their leadership skills.
Throughout the program, Ashley had the opportunity to connect with fellow classmates, expand her professional network, and gain a greater appreciation for the many organizations and industries that make Dodge City a vibrant community. As someone who considers herself an introvert, one of the most rewarding aspects of the program was stepping outside her comfort zone and building meaningful relationships with other leaders from across the community.
In addition to learning more about Dodge City, the program provided valuable insight into Ashley's personal leadership style and offered practical tools for communicating effectively, leading with intention, and continuing her professional growth.
"I expected to learn more about leadership, but I gained so much more," Ashley said. "The relationships I built, the knowledge I gained about our community, and the opportunity to better understand my own leadership style made this an incredibly meaningful experience."
Ashley extends her appreciation to the Dodge City/Ford County Development Corporation for supporting her participation in Leadership Dodge and investing in her professional development. She also thanks the Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce, Karla Lees, Dr. Karen Ackerman, and the Leadership Dodge Class of 2026 for making the experience both impactful and memorable.
