The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a federal partnership program with the SBA, hosted regionally by Seward County Community College, with an outreach center in Dodge City supported by the Dodge City/Ford County Development Corporation. Kansas Technology Enterprise Corporation

KTEC is a state-owned corporation established in 1987 to stimulate economic development in the State of Kansas. KTEC has developed specific programs to help fund the research, development, and commercialization processes of new technologies into today’s market. A statewide network supports entrepreneurs, businesses, and scientists through each phase of the technology life cycle, from an idea to a marketable product. KTEC is funded by proceeds from the Economic Development Initiatives Fund, which consists of revenues from the Lottery and Racing Commission.

Trade Show Assistance

Kansas International Trade Show Assistance Program (KITSAP) is a financial assistance program that encourages Kansas companies to explore foreign markets through participation in trade shows. Upon approval prior to the trade show, the program will reimburse one-half of a company’s eligible direct expenses, not to exceed $3,500 per foreign show that attracts foreign buyers. A company may not exceed $3,000 for domestic shows or $7,000 in total combined financial assistance during the state’s fiscal year.
