Revive The Block

The Revive the Block projects allows for families to receive up to $25,000 to cover various levels of repairs for the rehabilitation of their homes. The funds will be used to facilitate needed repairs that do not meet the city’s livable standard codes or those in imminent danger of failing.

  • Heating Appliances

  • Emergency Repairs

  • Foundation

  • Disleveled Floors

  • Drainage

  • Roofs Doors and access openings

  • Stairways

  • Plumbing

-Listed below are examples of the eligible repairs:

  • Hot water heating and storage

  • Water and sewer lines

  • Light and ventilation

  • Mechanical

  • Electrical

  • Kitchen and Baths

  • Handicapped Accessibility

  • Energy Conservation

  • Weatherization

 

Outcomes:

  • Reduce the number of homes in violation of City codes

  • Enhance the value and prolong the lifespan of the home

  • Identify other critical repairs needed and assist homeowners with solutions

Eligibility:

  • Meet low-to moderate- income guidelines

  • Home Owner- Occupies

  • The unit must be in the target area

  • Property taxes and utilities must be current

  • Active Insurance Policy
