Qualifying properties are any residential areas located South of Comanche Street.

The Neighborhood Revitalization Program (NRP) is an incentive designed to inspire the revitalization of residential areas throughout the southern half of Dodge City. NRP is designed to give property owners in the designated areas a ten-year, 95% for years 1 -5, and 50% for years 6-10 tax rebate. The incremental rebate is applied to additional property taxes that might be incurred as a result of rehabilitating homes or constructing new housing.

Eligibility

To qualify for the program, the applicant must increase the property value by 10%. All property must remain current on property taxes, applicable special assessments, and utility billings, as well as be zoned appropriately for the proposed use.

How to Apply

This program is designed to give property owners in the designated NRP area the opportunity to receive a tax rebate on the increased value of the property. The incremental rebate is applied to the additional property taxes that are incurred as a result of rehabilitating or constructing new residential property. Homeowners interested in receiving assistance must apply through the Community Housing Association of Dodge City.
