Community Housing Association of Dodge City (CHAD)

On, February 4, 2021, the Community Housing Association of Dodge City (CHAD) with help from Victory Electric, Cox Communications, Dodge City Police Department, Ford County Sheriff Office and the City of Dodge City Development Services and Public Works successfully moved a house from Hwy 50 to 602 Avenue N.

Marcellus House Moving prepped, loaded and moved the farmhouse, which was donated by Bill Crane. The vacant house will be renovated by local contractors and sold to a moderate-income family. This renovation is part of the Abandoned Housing Program through CHAD. For more information on CHAD visit www.dcchad.org.
